He is Cath’s future boyfriend, though they are not necessarily finals (we’ll see how it goes.) Kip here is a 22 year old from So-Cal. He comes from an extremely wealthy, prestigious family in So-Cal, but he wanted to escape their up-tight expectations so he escaped to Portland, where they believe he is in his senior year of college. The truth is that Kip never planned on going to college (despite being pretty damn smart) and instead spends his time stealing cars and partying. Kip makes tons of money stealing and selling cars, and he’s very loose with his money. He dresses well and likes to spend his money, which at first really annoys Cath because she’s always been broke and doesn’t like people who seem privileged or try to give her things. She hates feeling like a charity case, even though Kip really likes her and genuinely wants to help. Cath is extremely resistant to Kip, not understanding why he would be interested in her, and wanting to be involved with their huge, crazy family. It takes her a long time to get used to how good he is to her because she’s not used to being taken care of. Traits: kind, fun loving, over-confident, rash, smart, well intentioned, schemer, cocky, smart alec, flirtatious, dedicated, loving. His name does NOT have to be Kippling haha. Aidan Fitzpatrick could not wait to get the hell away from his family. When Ma left, that was the last straw. If Cath wanted to waste the rest of her life taking care of kids that weren’t hers, that was her problem. I see Aiden as kind of being like Percy Weasley; he’s not the most intelligent but is a stickler for rules, embarrassed by his family, and finds himself to be above all of their insanity. Aiden is a freshman in college and he is the only Fitzpatrick sibling who doesn’t still live at home. Cath is bitter and jealous that Aiden was able to get away from all the drama and the stress, but she also looks down on him for being so selfish. The other siblings are all either angry at Aiden for abandoning him, or are jealous of the opportunity he has to better himself. Aiden tries to keep people from knowing that he’s part of this crazy family, but he still loves his siblings and visits from time to time. Aiden doesn’t drink, do drugs, or party. He wishes he could save the rest of his siblings but isn’t willing to risk his own college years to help them more than he has to. Traits: serious, stubborn, intelligent, hard working, snooty, do-gooder, judgmental, critical, scared, lonely. His name and play-by are open; his name MUST be a common Irish name, nothing unusual. Kenneth is one of the strongest, most reliable Fitzpatrick’s. If he says he’s gonna do something, he does it. Ken is both the most like his father and the most like Cath. He’s like his father in that he loves to drink and get high and party, and he is constantly having sex with whoever will take him. He’s like Cath in that he loves his siblings too much to just bail on them and is often helping Cath out in taking care of everything. Ken is also the smartest Fitzpatrick, and he often tutors kids or takes SAT tests for them for extra cash. Even though he has a tough skin, he cares about his family and would do almost anything for them. Mess with one of his siblings, and he’ll beat the fucking shit out of you. His fuse is pretty short and you don’t want to be caught on the wrong side of his temper. Ken is super close to both Cath and DeclanTraits: Partier, caring, gives tough-love, sex addict, thrill seeker, sarcastic, confident, brilliant, angry, bitter, violent, irresponsible, doesn’t take care of himself, trustworthy. Again, Ken’s name is whatever you want as long is it’s a common Irish name. His play-by is Jeremy Allen White and I’d be hard pressed to change it.[/style] |

It takes a lot for him to lose his temper, and he usually doesn’t hold a grudge. Declan likes to drink and get high, sure, but he’s much more laid back than Ken and a bit more innocent. Dec is a private person who keeps to himself a lot of the time, and he’s a very sweet kid. Still; he is a Fitzpatrick. Don’t think you can give him shit, he knows how to defend himself. With that said, Declan wants to go into the military one day. He’s in ROTC in school and does really well. Even though he’s not the smartest kid in the world book-wise, he’s got his head on straight. Declan relies on Ken a lot, they’re very close. That almost gets ruined when Ken finds out that Declan is gay, because he feels like Declan should have been honest with him. Dec is VERY in the closet and doesn’t tell anyone but Cath about his sexuality. He’s afraid of being bullied or judged, and doesn’t want to bring even more shame to the Fitzpatrick name. Even though he’s in the closet Dec manages to find himself a guy here or there, but he has a hard time with flings and often gets attached. Traits: straight forward, honest, dependable, laid-back, defensive of his family, hard working, sympathetic, private, follower. His playby is Cameron Monaghan and isn’t up for debate. Ev has always embraced being one of the guys and she’s totally proud of being able to hang with them. Ev likes standing out and being a badass, which doesn’t do so well for her in school but at home no one really cares. She fools around, gets drunk every weekend, and parties with the big kids. Cath worries about Evelyn all the time but Ev is only irritated by Cath’s attention and likes to do her own thing. She and her brother Will are total partners in crime; they are almost always together. Ev loves her family but doesn’t like to sit around the house taking care of the little ones, so she usually does her own thing. She gets shit grades and her attendance is absurdly low, making her the target of frustrated teachers. She’s got a youth record for graffiti and breaking curfew. Traits: crass, aggressive, independent, stubborn, wild, fun-loving, partier, hates “the system”, careless, immature, heartbreaker, cocky, harsh, sly, trickster. Her name is up to you (you should know the deal by now, Irish, approved by moi). Her playby is open but must be approved by me. She should be someone “edgy.”[/style] |

Will really doesn’t give a fuck about anyone’s feelings, and he really doesn’t give a fuck about what happens to himself either. He’s constantly breaking bones (his own and others). There’s a good chance he won’t graduate between how many times he’s be suspended and his shitty GPA. Cath is always trying to teach Will a lesson but he hardly ever listens. He does his own thing most of the time and like Ev, doesn’t like to sit around the house. Traits: mean-spirited, careless, reckless, aggressive, partier, sociopathic, lonely, easily bored, non-commital.
