She was always trying to make every else feel happy and comfortable. This soon stuck with her and now she spends a lot of time trying to shake it. It isn’t really working though because she can’t help being nice to people. In middle school being nice worked for her and she managed to remain on top. People liked her because she was sweet and was always willing to help everyone. Now that she’s in high school it’s a bit of a different story. Girls are mean and they have to push others around to stay on top. This causes Rosie to stand at a bit of a cross roads between the nice girl she really is and the mean and popular girl she wants to be. AMBITIOUS Rosie always has a goal in mind. She needs to have something to aspire to do or become or she feels rather lost. This can take away from her life because she tends to neglect the present. Living in the future can only get her so far but she can’t see it. She wants to be on top and is willing to change herself to do it. This has become a bit of a problem for her lately because her ambition is getting in the way of who she really is. She is a really nice girl but now that she knows that this won’t get her what she wants, she’s determined to change. For her, this is the only way she can possible imagine being happy with herself and her life. INSECURE Rosie is a very insecure little girl. She always appears to be very self-confident and happy with herself but this isn’t the case at all. Underneath everything, she is really scared that no one will ever love her the way she is. This makes it very easy for others to take advantage of her because she just wants to feel needed. When a boy tells her that she’s pretty she wants to believe him. Somewhere deep down she doesn’t really believe them but she wants to so badly that for that small amount of time, she does. She hasn’t been convinced to go all the way yet but guys have come pretty close. If it wasn’t for her insecurities about not being as good as their previous lovers she would most likely sleep around. NAIVE Rosie has always been very sheltered by her parents and older brother. This has caused her to become very naïve and innocent. She doesn’t really understand how the real world works and this New Year has been a bit of a reality check for her. She didn’t realize that girls would cut her down if she was overly nice and helpful. She still doesn’t truly understand and lets a lot of the older girls walk all over her. She is also this way when it comes to the boys who see her as an easy target. When they flirt with her it makes her feel special and she assumes that their intentions are pure. This really isn’t the case when it comes to a lot of boys and although she’s still a virgin it might not remain that way for long. If a boy tells her that she’s the only one and he loves her then she’s most likely going to believe him. When he met Rosemary they quickly fell in love. She was a very special girl who was willing to deal with all of the publicity. They were like dynamite together and very powerful politically. They soon had their first son who they named Theodore. After a few more years they had another child. This one was a little girl and they named her Rosemary. Rosemary was born early but fortunately she didn’t have many health issues. It took a little extra time in the hospital but soon she was at a healthy weight and was allowed to go home. Her parents loved her and she became pretty close to her father. Theo always seemed a little closer to their mother so it worked out pretty well. As for the relationship between her and her brother, it was pretty good although they still had their fights as most siblings do. As Rosie grew up she was always being told how pretty and special she was. She always loved hearing this and it made her a little sheltered. She wasn’t used to hearing anything but praise and compliments so when she started school it was a little hard on her. This caused her to become really nice to everyone so they wouldn’t want to push her around. She didn’t like to bully others and was always nice to the underdog. When she was younger, this brought her popularity and everyone knew and liked her. When high school came around it was another story completely. Girls were mean and they were more than willing to push others around to stay on top. Girls like Rose became easy targets and she was frequently manipulated. She is a little too naïve to fully realize this though so girls and boys who run in the popular crowds like to use her. She has started to realize that girls, who can be mean, stay on top. Now she wants to be one of those girls but it’s very conflicting because she’s a nice girl at heart. It’s been really hard for her to toughen up and push away those who could hurt her reputation. This hasn’t been enough to grant her popularity though and she has been classified as a wannabe. Despite this fact, she’s still determined to join the popular crowd and get back on top. High school has become a battle that she has to face and her mission is to be one of them. It’s taking over her life but she doesn’t care because she can’t see the consequences. Her older brother has become very annoyed with her because he doesn’t like watching his little sister change so much to fit in.
