AFFECTIONATE how else are you supposed to show that you care for someone? cuddles are the best, just ask minnie. any sort of touchiness works for her, but she likes playing with people's fingers the most. even with strangers she gets all touchy feely. kisses are something very casual with her and her hugs basically can show all of her feelings. affection is something very important to her, because in most cases words fail to show how much she cares. just because she talks and likes to talk does not mean that can automatically spew out a bunch of lovey dovey bull shit. ASSURED well, she is going to get anywhere if she doesn't believe in herself. half of the time she doesn't even know what she is doing but has complete confidence that she will get it done. minnie looks in the mirror every morning and is content with what she sees. she knows that she damned far from perfect and that is just the way she wants it to be. beauty comes from imperfection and she could never be more happier with herself and everything about her. never will she doubt what she can because she knows exactly what it is she has the ability to completely. it is probably her most redeeming quality. FLIRT naturally she was the sort of girl who didn't mind that sexual attention wasn't sent her way. all of her flirting needs are acquired from kota, since she watched all the boys strive after her. now minnie finds that pursuing guys and girls alike is habit for her. her voice draws them in and if they are intrigued enough her personality usually ropes them in. but she doesn't want to keep them around for long. once they have a colored lipstick kiss on their lips she will flounce on, forever kept content by the attention that she receives. her sweet words and blushing cheeks can only be kept in sight so long before she is gone. DEDICATED her habit of flirting does not really fall into any other categories of her personality. she commits herself, just ask dakota. she even wrote up a contract after their five year old selves had decided they were going to best friends for life. whether it is people or a task she puts herself on the line. everything could be falling to shambles and everyone would call her crazy when she refuses to budge because she mad a promise. many could see it as a downfall but minnie knows that all of her dedication is appreciated, even if no one ever voices their thanks. with her relationships this dedication can be seen the most. her hoship with dakota monroe is the best example. COMICAL to be branded a joker this personality trait needs to be checked off on the application. it's not that she goes about telling jokes and hoping that people will laugh at her. her comedy comes from the things she says at random, her phases of weird dress, and her habit of leaving colored lipstick kisses. she says whatever comes to mind and most of the time those things are sharp and laugh worthy. she has a knack for using stupid pranks as a way to circulate talk that she never even wished for. naturally she is a comedian, but not the type of career that funny people wish to pursue. JEALOUS that jelly you put on your toast this morning, it was probably made out of minnie's jealousy. she doesn't bother to dye her hair green because she pretty much already is green with envy. she is possessive over her friends and hates to see it when they get attention and like it. if someone has something that she wants they are temporarily marked on her shit list. she be jellin' and she is aware of it. does it matter? no, because minnie just wants what she wants and never knows how to get it. so she just wallows around like a fat kitten until something else comes around to cancel out the envy. it's a problem that will never get better. RECKLESS no way in hell would she be a joker if she didn't dig herself into holes of trouble. her thought process fails her at times, or at least that is what she likes to claim. she'll jump into any situation and grab it by the horns, regardless of if she knows that it will turn out into trouble. partying, drinking, and everything else falls under that category. or she will just do something stupid and find herself sitting in a jail cell. because of her recklessness kota has used plenty of her college funds to bail minnie out. and she just goes out and continues to be even more thoughtless. SUPPORTIVE it would be thought that being supportive is a good trait. well, not in the case of minnie cornwall. she backs up her friends at the moment that she becomes dedicated to them. it's not good in anyway. no matter what they do she will always be holding them up, ready to have their backs if something ever goes awry. she has gotten into plenty of trouble because she as sworn innocence on someone who clearly did not deserve it. it isn't that she wants to bail them out, it is just that she has complete allegiance to all of her friends. it bites her in the ass plenty of times but minnie doesn't mind the ouchies on her bum. CHILDISH i said minnie has a little kid living inside of her and i completely mean it. she understands maturity but decides to disregard it because it's no fun. fun, fun, fun. it's all that she wants. in the morning she'll still watch cartoons and when the cereal box is empty she will look for the toy. her childishness doesn't make her innocent or meek, it makes her unable to understand the intensity of becoming an adult. she'd rather goof around then get work done and it is seriously hurting her future. it could also very well be the reason why she has always failed at maintaining a serious relationship. GIDDY cake makes minnie excited, among the endless list of other things. it does not take very much at all to make her happy. a simple kiss from kota can make her all gleeful and get her to shut up with the idiocy that she was speaking of. when she gets giddy she usually go out and dye her hair to match her mood or jump around like an idiot. she squeals too RESTLESS maybe it is the child in her that always makes her feel like she needs to pee. whatever it is, she cannot stay still for the life of her. her toes will tap or she'll bob her head to try and calm herself. does that ever happen? if it did then the goddamn sky would be technicolor. to try and cure her restlessness minnie goes out and does the random. she has also taken to do random little crafts to try and keep herself entertained. she also likes to try and do a million things at once. it usually only gets her frustrated and then something ends up getting broken. greater part of minnie's life has completely and utterly sucked. there is plenty to complain about but she has never said a single bad thing about her parents, or the neglect, or even mourned over the loss of her sister. practically all of her life has spent with dakota and her family, since they had willingly allowed her to basically live in their house. she isn't wealthy but she also isn't poor. minnie has all the basics she needs to get by and a little more, since she has managed to keep herself employed at forever 21. the jokers are where she belongs and as a junior her life couldn't possibly be any sweeter. her parents made the biggest mistake possible by thinking that they wanted two kids. the whole american classical family was apart of their dream, which they were determined to live out even if it ran them into the ground. that was exactly what happened. by the age of thirty they had two children and a large house but no money to try and back the live they wished to live. donovan had the bright idea to start a real estate business which was completely a sham. it was shaky at first but the two conquered the con business because they had the determination to try and make their lives thrive. it's sketchy whenever minnie talks about it because she so clueless. from a young age both she and pearl were disregarded. it became normal for minnie to assume that her parents never wanted to spend any time with her. pearl was her caretaker, she was older by three years and she fearlessly took on the role of the parent. she would walk minnie to all of her gymnastic practices and sit at her meets. when she had homework she would go over it with her and in the morning she would make sure that minnie had her lunch. pearl practically helped shape the path for minnie, since she would have been floundering had it only been her parents around to try and raise her. she was her sister, caretaker, and best friend. a part of minnie is still highly grateful for having pearl in her life, even for such a short time. she met dakota at a very young age. sometime around five years old, probably. minnie claims that they have spent too much time together to actually try and keep tabs. it was when pearl thought it would be good for minnie to try and exercise some, let out the bottled energy and put their parents falsely made money to use. so it was gymnastics, with minnie her cute little leotard and hair tied back in a ribbon. she failed horribly, learning quickly that she was not athletic in the slightest bit. so instead of worrying about sports any longer she laid the short lived career to rest and decided to latch onto kota. the first time she showed up at her meet with a t-shirt saying 'eye luv kuta' it was practically a deal that the two were now best friends for life. she had been too busy living her life with kota to realize that pearl was putting herself into some serious trouble. her whole childhood was kota and her humor. it never really went any further than that. to voice herself she choice her own style of dress and started to take to dying her hair funny colors and wearing oddly colored lipstick. she went through fashion phases and branched out into becoming more rebellious and a little reckless. kota caused her to become a flirt and she found that she totally loved being around her best friend. they were unstoppable and she gave her security. it was everything that her parents could not provide and that made minnie love kota even more. since her attention had been taken from pearl to kota her sister found that she was practically useless. minnie was thirteen when pearl decided that she no longer belonged in this world. even three years later a piece of herself still wants to take the blame for pearl killing herself. she had kept a journal and she personally addressed it to minnie in her goodbye letter. she had hung herself from the shower curtain rod, a swift death. so swift that no one had even heard her last gasps of air even though everyone was in the house. her parents hardly seemed to care and that wrecked minnie even more. for her whole year of eighth grade she lapsed into an emotional period. drinking and partying which came at the end of middle school were the only things that had permanently perked her up. high school came and she has sort of been breezing it by pretty much. the jokers welcomed her immediately, her colorful patterns and loud sense of humor giving her the stamp of approval. she began to nose her way into trouble with the teachers and soon enough the authorities. it was all too clear that with the jokers was exactly where minnie belonged. she gained respect and it was shown that she did not care what anyone thought of her. while the populars weren't exactly her favorite people she wasn't automatically crossed off by them. she is content to stay with her clique, feeling the perks of being likable enough but not having any social issues pressing onto her shoulders. she is joker and it's all she will ever really be.
