FACE CLAIM andy biersack PERSONALITY + COMPASSIONATE I know it's hard to believe, but one of his most substantial traits is compassion. Beyond the dark clothes and theatrical makeup, a seventeen year old with a charitably warm heart of gold willingly exists. Sidney is a very, very sweet individual and his surprisingly amicable nature allows him to differ greatly from all other misfits. Have you ever heard the term..."touchy-feely?" Sid meshes perfectly with the two words. He frequently showers his friends and lovers with as much affection as he can muster, which makes this boy quite lovable. Sidney can actually make a fantastic boyfriend, because he has a horrible habit of surrounding most of his thoughts around the person he's committed to at the time. All in all, he's just...a weird walking teddy bear that you can cuddle all day if you really wish to. In fact, he'll likely make you wanna stitch together a mini Sidney plushie to snuggle with when he can't be around. + PACIFIST Most freaks of this world turn out to be pretty belligerent, wouldn't you agree? Their hostile and merciless antics keep others at bay, and their crude thoughts annihilate the possibility of them reaching out to people. Sidney Dreer, thank god, is the complete opposite of this. After enduring many judgmental opinions from his classmates and the simple passersby of his hometown, he has learned to block out any negativity that has the potential of lowering his self-esteem. He is a shockingly optimistic thinker: he chooses to count the pros and overlook all cons. He can hardly bring himself to hold a grudge against another for longer than a month. As you have already discovered, Sidney is more of a lover than a fighter. He has been that way for as long as he can remember. + WHIMSICAL What a silly boy Sidney has turned out to be. If it wasn't for how unusual his outer exterior displays him commonly, his shamelessly comical acts would land him with the title of a class clown. Where he personally doesn't yearn for the spotlight in most situations, Sidney has been known to feed off of the amusement-filled laughter even strangers may experience when he's around. He'll happily walk on his hands until he falls flat onto his face, or he'll try juggling too many oranges while running down a flight of stairs. It doesn't matter how idiotic he looks or how embarrassing something may seem: if he can cheer up his friends or twist a dark situation into a likable one, he'll do whatever he needs to do. Sid loves being a goofball. It is in his blood, his grandfather says. - APHOTIC Growing up around guardians obsessed with gruesome things, Sid does have his occasional dark moments. He enjoys listening to music with more heavy, hopeless sounds: it explains why the friends he does have belong to the goth or punk clique. His sporadically caliginous sense goes hand in hand with his favored attire, so do not fret if you find yourself slinking uncomfortably away throughout these obscure moments. He isn't necessarily dark enough to be classified as a suicidal lost cause, thanks to the bit of optimism tied to his name. He laughs at not so happy things sometimes, is all. - GULLIBLE Deceive him, manipulate him, ruin him...he's far too naïve for his own good. A truly kind heart keeps Sid from picking out the many flaws in other beings, but that unfortunately blinds him from obvious cunning. If he has met you before, and if he has taken a liking to you, he'll practically believe anything that comes out of your mouth. His twin scolds him viciously whenever wrongdoing is unexpectedly cast down upon him. Though nevertheless, he continues to ignore the strong possibility of getting screwed over. To sum it up for you, wrapping this seventeen year old around your finger doesn't take much at all. He doesn't realize when people are stringing him along. In fact, he has grown to sort like it when real intentions decide to surface before his very eyes. Sidney loves for the sole purpose of loving anything: and he isn't somebody who requires it to be fully returned. He'll willingly engage into a one-sided thing if it means he can spend time with the person. Stupid, right? - KOOKY The Dreer family is just...weird. With a mortician for a grandma and a horror-buff for a grandpa, what do you honestly expect? He is very aware that many of his interests aren't supported by everybody, and he figures this is why he attends high school under a clique categorized with the rejects. Sid looks like a creepy boy, and the skill of scaring onlookers also seemingly runs in his family line. Some of the things he says make others stare in confusion, just as his actions often due. But he has learned to appreciate all aspects of horror: including himself, and his wickedly wild sister. Can I have your attention for a little bit longer, though? Remember than everything isn't what it always seems, so it would be wise not to turn tail and run in the opposite direction during your first encounter with him. As chances are, you will discover out how lovable he certainly is within hours or even minutes. They were close for a few months prior to their dating stage, but the two quickly discovered that they still had much to learn about one another as time went on. The ending of May created the ideal moment for a lively party, mainly fit for high school students and such. The story is a very simple one to follow really: Lydia and Monte had consumed alcohol, they were as horny as any other normal teenager dancing the night away at this party, and dashing off to find a vacant bedroom upstairs just seemed like the best idea at the time. About a month later, a positive pregnancy test confirmed that the two needed to grow up already and prepare to raise a set of future twins to the best of their ability. As winter rolled around for the citizens of Detroit, loads and loads of partially expected snow started falling heavily from the sky as each day passed by. One afternoon resulted in a majority of Monte's neighborhood getting snowed in for at least a couple of days. Lydia had already been kicked out of her own home (after informing her parents of the pregnancy), so staying with the Dreer family was truly the girl's only option at the time. Sophia was off visiting her sister up north when this all occurred, but recalling back to the chaotic event now, Monte's mother would have likely been the key part to keeping this young mother alive. Lydia went into labor during the snowstorm, successfully bringing two infants into the world with the help of Monte and his father, Richard. This was no easy task, and it physically killed her in the end due to much blood loss over the course of both births. On February 14th, Sidney was born approximately 30 minutes after his twin sister. Lydia's death then followed very, very swiftly. Monte, being only sixteen still at the time, wasn't really up for the whole “parenting” task to begin with. Lydia's parents certainly didn't want the burden of raising two newborns (especially while grieving over the death of their daughter), so the only other solution was for Sophia & Richard to step in and raise their grandchildren. On December 15th, Sid's grandparents decided upon the names Sidney Jaiden Dreer and _____ _____Dreer for the two. Monte had no issue with signing all rights over to his parents for good. Sid and his twin were then happily raised by the loving, yet terribly bizarre couple. About a year ago, Sidney's family moved to Portland after his grandmother received a job transfer. Now on the outskirts of town, you will find that the Dreer family manages the local cemetery, the funeral home, and prepares the mourning periods of those who've lost someone dear to them. Not only that, but his grandparents literally live on the third floor of the actual funeral home. In a separate guesthouse not too far away, Sid & his twin have been granted their own mini place to hang around and sleep in. The property still gives off an eerie feeling, however. His grandpa runs a year round “haunted” area in the heart of town, and you will come to know it as Shrieking Hollow. BEHIND THE MASK ALIAS river or rivvy AGE optional EXPERIENCE about five years FOUND US i can't remember > > CODE WORD staff edit OTHER CHARACTERS soon believe me ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE Exhaustion; the ten letter word had not a single upside to its meaning. It took away enthusiasm, awareness, toleration – but most importantly, the well deserved hours of sleep that the human body required to function. Within its grasp, somebody's literal life could reveal itself to be bothersome even and quite often, the mind begins to run through a routine of instincts rather than a person's common desires. Although she anticipated the immensely drained energy effects prior to the many double shifts she'd taken on this week, Zephyr's level of surprise was much higher in result. The hour was nearly ten-thirty in the very late evening, yet the seemingly recognized movement of plates & other dining utensils remained a sign of Harbour Place Grille still being open to anyone hoping to satisfy their hunger needs. It wasn't inside of the actual restaurant itself that she chose to be seated in, however. On the patio just outside of the main dining sections and what have you, a diminutive nineteen year old enjoyed the presence of the Niagra River flowing endlessly beside the outside area. There really wasn't anything terribly significant about the current setting; vacant tables all around, the occasional swish of air when cars would drive by the restaurant, the distinctive trickle of river water fighting away the silence, a simple glass of iced tea already drank passed the half way mark, a sketchbook litered with many drawings in the female tattooist's personal style, etc. Though, that was to be expected on the final ends to a Sunday night, wasn't it? The nightlife crowd had previously unleashed their surges of chaos & recklessness earlier on in the weekend, you see. But now that the party atmosphere wasn't feeling neglected, things could finally start to wind down accordingly throughout the rest of the week. And more importantly, Zephyr would be able to take a breath and actually admire the air inside of her lungs, without feeling pressured to dart off and work with something else. The girl was all for busy schedules, this is true, but even she wasn't capable of doing everything at one particular time. Her love for art in truly any form needed to be practiced for the woman's actual sanity, but in order to make time for this peaceful hobby, it required the rest of her responsibilities to be in complete check... Were the bills always paid? Well, not always. But generally, yes. Was there food on the table? Perhaps not home cooked food, but you could blame her lack of cooking skills for that. Were the twins well and happy? They were three. And everybody knows that the happiness of a toddler was determined on their mood of the day. For the most part, nevertheless, it could also be checked off as a yes. Speaking of responsibility...it was hard for Zephyr to determine when exactly she began endure it willingly on her own. Obviously, one would automatically examine the 'having children at sixteen' option thoroughly, but was that justly when it all started for her? Could this lifestyle be a form of the famous 'karma' myth? Sometimes - err, more like incredibly frequently - the guilt of wishing she'd made better choices in the past had a way of putting a major damper on her mood. There was the constant wondering of where she would be at currently in life if she hadn't broke free from...well, from... What was there to break free from in the first place? This was a question that Zephy had still left unanswered. Being one of those lucky children with no rules really whatsoever, her rebellious streaks of the past could easily fall under confusion. There was no cage, no restrictions of the household, and nothing other than a few sexist remarks from her step-father. Her freedom alone could have been enough to please a whole collection of individuals, but naturally, she took it all for granted in her younger teenage years. No matter how extreme her actions may have seemed, they only grew to be more over the top than before. With all of that said, why would anybody feel the need to preform such disobedient behavior? Whether it be towards her parental guardians or society itself? Because as pathetic as it was, Zephyr had felt trapped growing up under her step-father's roof. Differing from the rest of the family members wasn't the idealistic way to bond over things, and due to their own narcissistic mindsets, it caused her to recoil back into the comforts of solitude whenever she was stuck hanging around inside the 'Kingsley' household. Money had never been enough to bribe the girl into toleration with the others by any standards, and considering that her mother's husband wasn't capable of comprehending any other approaches, Zephyr's forehead was more or less stamped with the words 'lost cause' before she hit fourteen. She wasn't fond of that particular experience. Anyone could see that if they wanted to. Sighing lightly to herself and rubbing her eyes a bit, her pale hand extended to grasp onto the cool glass containing her iced tea nearby. The design she was currently drawing into her sketchbook was yet another abstract art piece, but the structure itself contained various swirls within its core. To most onlookers, it could've easily passed for something too odd to give a second thought about. But in Zephyr's eyes, she was pretty pleased with how it was all coming together marvelously. |
