I'M SO GLAD YOU MADE IT HERE TODAY, BUT I'VE SEEM TO FORGOTTEN WHAT YOUR NAME WAS, IT WAS PAT... OR SOMETHING, RIGHT? NO, WELL, WHY DON'T YOU TELL ME IT THEN? FIRST, MIDDLE AND LAST, PLEASE. OH, AND PLEASE DO TELL ME ANY SCRUMPTIOUS NICKNAMES." Teagan Rae Crowell has been called many things by many people, including freak, loser, reject, creep and homewrecking whore. Her friends on the scene refer to her at Teag or T.C. To her family, she's just Teagan Rae. "I HAVE TO SAY, THAT'S QUITE A NAME YOU GOT THERE. I DON'T THINK I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE. TELL ME, HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED IN PORTLAND OR HAVE YOU COME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE?" Teagan was born and raised in Portland, Oregan, though you can rest assured that when she's old enough she is going to get as far away from this place as she possibly can. Nothing is going to hold her back, not her family, her friends or her reputation. "OH, I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. HERE, LET'S LIGHTEN UP THE TOPIC A LITTLE BIT. OUT OF ALL OF THE WORDS IN THE WORLD, WHICH FIVE DESCRIBE YOU BEST AND WHY?" Outgoing - If you only knew. Teagan, at least to those who are like her, is a social butterfly. She's not afraid to talk to people who can accept her for who she is and makes friends in her circle quite easily. Musical - It's her life. One day she's going to be famous, even if the "royals" think she's nothing but a reject. What do they know anyway? Nothing. If they'd only take the time to hear her sing, they'd be impressed. Maybe. Flirtatious - Unintentionally. Teagan doesn't mean to be, it's sort of her nature to flirt which puts her in precarious situations. She's found herself in a homewrecking situation or two, stealing boyfriends when that was never her intention. Open-Minded - In many different aspects. To her, people can live all different types of lifestyles and there's nothing wrong with it. Teagan thinks outside the box and tries to see outside societies norms. Strong - You sort of have to if you walk around the shade of pepto or as she refers to it, bubblegum. She tries not to internalize the comments she hears from the royals or anyone else for that matter. They're just afraid to live outside their comfort zone. "I'M NOT GOING TO LIE. YOU SEEM LIKE QUITE THE CATCH. I'M SURE YOU'RE ALWAYS BUSY, HUH? DO YOU LIKE WATCHING TELEVISION OR KNITTING? WHY DON'T YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?" hobbies - writing music, playing guitar and piano, singing likes - music, duh! fashion, hair dye, shopping, reinventing herself, hanging out, going to concerts, horror movies, Friday night sleep overs with her girls, romantic dates dislikes - people who assume or judge her by her appearance, haters, broken guitar strings, missing the note she was meant to hit, meat (she's a vegetarian) strengths - her individuality, musical talent, outgoing personality weaknesses - cute boys, shopping and spending money, thai food, diet coke "YOU SOUND PRETTY FEARLESS, BUT THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING YOU'RE AFRAID OF. ANY JUICY SECRETS?" That her voice isn't as good as she thinks and that she'll just never make it as a musician. Her family wants to believe in her, but even they have a hard time believing in a dream that means you have to wish on stars to achieve it. "DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY, BUT ARE YOU GAY? I MEAN, IT WASN'T SOMETHING YOU SAID OR ANYTHING. I'M JUST A CURIOUS OLD BADGER. UM. WHAT DO YOU FIND ATTRACTIVE? IS THAT BETTER? I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO." Teagan is heterosexual. Her taste in guys is pretty cookie cutter, which for someone who looks the way she does it's almost an oxymoron of sorts. But, what makes Teagan's heart skip a beat is the cliche long black "emo" hair, black eyeliner, skinny jeans and tight shirts. A scenester! They can't just look the part, they have to truly live the lifestyle. Teagan's ideal boyfriend would be sweet on the inside with a little bit of bad boy on the outside. She wants someone who is passionate about their relationship, not afraid to stand up and fight for her and is loyal. Love of music is an absolute must and non negotiable! "ALRIGHT, ENOUGH WITH THE HEAVY STUFF. LET'S TALK ABOUT... MUSIC. I THINK YOU MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT POP OR HIP HOP EARLIER. WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE? RAP, COUNTRY, JAZZ? WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FIVE MOST PLAYED SONGS ON ITUNES?" Alternative! Some of Teagan's favorite bands are Falling In Reverse, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Jack Off Jill and Sumo Cyco. Songs she can relate or rock out to? Music Is My Boyfriend! Unholy Confessions! Pick Up The Phone! The Drug In Me Is You! The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You! When I Am Queen! "LISTENING TO MUSIC LIKE THAT? YOU'RE SURE TO BE A STAR IN THE NEAR FUTURE. YOU SEEM LIKE A WELL-ROUNDED YOUNG PERSON, MY DEAR. WHERE DO YOU FIND YOURSELF TO BE IN FIVE YEARS FROM NOW?" When it's all said and done, Teagan wants to be in the music industry. Music is her life and has been for as long as she can remember. She wants to have a band and make it big. She's not afraid to model either, but music is her ultimate goal and fantasy. "IF IT MEANS ANYTHING, I'LL BE ROOTING FOR YOU WHEN THE TIME COMES. I'M SURE YOUR PARENTS WILL TOO. SPEAKING OF YOUR PARENTS, WHY DON'T YOU TELL US THEIR NAMES AND WHAT YOU THINK OF THEM! DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS, PETS, OTHER RELATIVES?" Teagan is the second born child to Caitlin and Jameson Crowell, a high school teacher and university professor respectively. She has an older brother, Jameson Jr. and twin (brother and sister) who are fifteen. Teagan has a normal relationship with her family despite popular belief. Her exterior appearance has nothing to do with some awful, neglectful or abusive upbringing, it's just who she is. Her parents try to be as supportive as they can, though they worry that her dreams are going to just lead to disappointment. She has a black cat named Shadows, but she calls him Shads for short. "OH, I SEE. WELL, WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. WHY DON'T WE WRAP THIS UP WITH YOUR STORY? HOW DID YOU END UP IN PORTLAND, OREGON?" Teagan isn't going to apologize or make up excuses for her being the way that she is. Nothing traumatic happened in her life to make her rebel and look the way that she does, it's just who she is. Her parents have a happy, healthy relationship and they support their children to the best of their abilities. This is just who she is. From a young age, music had always been her life. She started playing the piano at the age of five and she never looked back. Soon after that she picked up a guitar and when she was old enough he started writing her own lyrics. Teagan's always been the girl who's sung in the shower and tried entered the talent shows. She's not afraid to be who she is, though sometimes she knows her flirtatious personality can give her a bad rep. The older she got the more she found herself immersed in the alternative lifestyle and finding herself more comfortable in her own skin with no intentions of looking back. She started dying her hair when she was about ten years old, nothing too crazy but the older she got the crazier it got until she was fully transformed into the bubblegum princess. Teagan's never been one to settle down in the love department, but she's hopeful that one day her knight in skinny jeans and black hair dye will sweep her off her feet. ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE Somehow in the midst of things she had heard Kolt come into the room and remove Toby. Even if she couldn’t process it at the time, Charlie knew it had happened. There was no way that Kolt wouldn’t have heard Charlie screaming and even though she knew her loud voice would have alarmed Toby, she just couldn’t take the way that they had treated her brother. It was uncalled for and just not okay. He and Angel had gone through enough in their lifetime to have to deal with anymore of whatever the press thought they were going to dish out to Toby. But she knew that he was safe now with his husband somewhere. Charlie wished she knew where but wherever it was, she knew that Kolt would keep Toby safe and help him calm down. She would apologize for her outburst later and make it up to him somehow, but she just couldn’t have kept it together any longer. Even as Ben had wrapped his arm around her, grabbing her hand, the déjà vu of the situation couldn’t seem to snap Charlie out of what had happened. They’d been there before, her so upset for someone hurting Braeydon that she had snapped and went to hit them. Ben had stopped her then and now, he was always there to help her see straight when she was too irrational to make sense of things. Charlie knew that she should have thought things through, she was four months pregnant, but she just couldn’t. She had to just make it all stop, defend those she loved. At that moment she didn’t care what the press was going to say, blame it on her hormones or whatever heinous story they had more than likely already cooked up. Charlie had heard the sound of her husband’s voice, the calming nature of it, yet at the same time it was firm enough for her to hear him over her own turmoil and anger. She had let him lead her out of the conference room, her entire body still shaking from it all. Charlie had wanted to help Draven, but Kade was there to take care of him and she had to trust that he would. Braeydon. He had been the best friend she’d ever had and even if he wasn’t talking to her now or even if he never had any intention of talking to her again, she still would worry about him. What if Dylan had been so angry with him for not telling him that things went bad between them? Charlie already knew that Draven was in big trouble if Dylan went after him, but he was a big boy and he’d have to deal with that on his own. There was nothing that Charlie would be able to do, especially not pregnant, that would stop Dylan. She wished that she could get to him, check on him or at least talk to Dylan if he wouldn’t talk to her, but Charlie knew that her presence would probably just make things worse. Braeydon hated her as much as he hated Ben and even thought it broke her heart into pieces, she couldn’t force him to be her best friend or to even understand how much she cared. She would just have to talk to Dylan, check on Braeydon when he wasn’t around. She had to calm down. None of this stress was good for her baby and she knew it. But Charlie couldn’t calm down, not just yet. She still had to explain to her husband what had happened in the press conference. He had managed to get her calm enough to get back to the bus so she could sit down, get away from the crowds of people and try to get herself together. This wasn’t easy. So much had happened and her fear now was that Ben was going to hate her for keeping this secret for so many years. Charlie sat on the leather couch lost in her own thoughts. She had no idea where to start. Did she tell Ben that she was there the night that Braeydon had revealed what happened? Did she give him the details? Charlie wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do, but she had to tell him something. He deserved to know. Draven should have told him years ago but he had promised her not to tell Ben. They had just started becoming friends again and he was terrified that this would have made things worse. Braeydon had made her promise not to say anything. Now her promises were about to blow up in her face, her husband was never going to be able to trust her again. Tears started streaming down her face. The reality that she could lose everything for a secret that wasn’t even hers had just hit her. Charlie covered her face with her hands. The last thing she wanted was for Ben to look at her, or maybe it was that she couldn’t look at her husband’s face knowing that she on some level betrayed him. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, but because of her loyalty to her best friends, Charlie was about to lose the love of her life or at least in her mind. Her baby was going to grow up the way she thought that he was, without both of his parents together. His. She didn’t even know if he was a boy yet, but already Charlie knew that things weren’t going to be the way she wanted them to be. They were supposed to have a happily ever after, but Charlie was terrified that there was no way that was possible now. JERICKA, SIX YEARS, AD ON CAUTION, ADMIN EDIT |
