Hello my darlings! As you all know, things have slowed down here over on JTWIN. Maggie, Maddie, and I have our sights set on some amazing new plans, so stay tuned for the grand opening of our new site this summer! JTWIN has been an amazing experience for all of us, and we want to thank you for being such wonderful members. All members who want to come over to the new site will be welcomed with open arms. For now, feel free to continue developing your characters and writing on here if you'd like. Maggie will be putting up a prom board soon, because who doesn't get excited about prom?! registration packet , Welcome to Just The Way I知 Not, home of a high school clique roleplay. Take a look in here for the rules, plot, cliques, and a whole lot more great stuff! If you're new, look in here first. Please read everything - it will help you decide if you really want to join and will prevent you from not knowing the rules. The administrators post things frequently so please check in whenever you see a new thread. Activity checks and the monthly spotlight nominations and voting take place in this lovely board, and in between those, you'll find more information on in character and out of character events.

Of course there痴 going to be a frequently asked questions thread so read that first... it may answer the question you have yet to ask! enrollment process , When you've read, understand, and agree to everything in the 'Registration Packet', and you have your account made and your character all thought out, the next step is to drop by this board! Inside, you'll find a thread with our applications. Quote either the Traditional style or the Interview style, and fill it out according to your character and the rules! Please do not roleplay or use the games until you've been accepted. Be patient with your staff - there aren't many of us, so if we can't get to your application right away, don't get mad! If your app has been sitting for three days without any mention if it being checked, don't be afraid to give us a holler! We don't bite... much.
the filing cabinet , Congratulations! Your application has been reviewed by a staff member and moved to this location. The characters are sorted by gender. Please head to the claims after this. Faces are only reserved if you fill out the face claim, so if your character's playby isn't claimed, it's up in the air for new people to grab. Once your character has been moved here, you have the right away to start roleplaying! We hope to see you around!
claims and things , This is your first priority after your character has been accepted! Every claim is important, but the face claim and member roster are our number one priorities. Filling out claims helps prevent later confusion and stress for both members and staff, so please come in here and fill out all your claims! Claim everything before you begin roleplaying. We know claiming can be boring, but we need this stuff on record not just for us, but for you and your fellow members! Please take the ten minutes to fill out all your character's claims. Hey, sometimes they can be fun.
shipping pages , Ladies and gentlemen, this is the wonderful board where you will find all of the plot pages! In this board, you can create your own shipping page, and plot with your fellow members and staff. Please keep all of your characters on one thread. We are a large society, so this board tends to get cluttered and confusing if there are characters from the same person everywhere. The first few plot pages pinned at the top happen to be the plot pages of your brilliant staff members here on Just The Way I'm Not. We would love if you posted in them as well as your fellow members. Plot pages are the first step to get posting!
wanted advertisements , If you have to request a character for a specific plot, do it here. If you want to pick up a character and make someoneﾃδεつεδづつづδεつづδづつ痴 day that much brighter, this is the right place to do it! Remember, there are a lot of plots, and once your advertisement has been snagged please put a [C] in front of the title so we know to move it. Any advertisement not bumped in a week will be moved to the dead ads board. We donﾃδεつεδづつづδεつづδづつ稚 want inactive ads cluttering the board when we have more active ones!
trackers galore , Everyone knows what trackers are... right? Well if you don稚, then I値l just have to explain them to you! These trackers are mystical divine things that are here for the glory of the members because we all know how hectic a forum can get. Since everyone is human, we forget stuff and make mistakes. This board is where you can post a tracker for all your threads so you know which ones you池e in, and for all your characters... just in case you forget which ones you have, and which ones are in a relationship with who! Post in the proper sub-board for your tracker!
cell phones , Need to text a friend? Or send a picture message about your night? Need to call someone for a ride home? Or maybe you miss a call from your mom? Did someone leave a nice drunk voicemail for you? Sending dirty messages to your lover, or cute ones to your beau? All the above and more can be found here. Please make one cell phone for your character on their account in a separate thread from other characters.

social networking , Well, well, well, what do we have here? That's right. Welcome to the twenty first century, my friends. Calling someone and even texting is so yesterday... well, not really, but you catch my drift. Facebook and Twitter have seemingly taken over the internet and taken off with members. Go ahead and make your characters their Facebook and Twitter pages here! For Facebook Pages: Put the title of your character's facebook page thread as 'FIRST LAST'S WALL'. For Twitter Pages: Put the title of your character's twitter page thread as '@usernamehere'. You can find templates for Facebook and Twitter on Caution if you need to find one. Or just ask.
instant messenger , Okay, this doesn't need a description, but you're getting one. It's another great tool to contact your friends and family. You can use it from aim, yahoo and so many others. It's like an email, once you send it, you won't be getting it back. Some people use it out of boredom, and some people use it for answers for homework. You even have people that have mushy conversations with their boyfriends and girlfriends. No matter what, you're using it, and it's one of the most popular forms of communication among teens. Please put each IM conversation in a separate thread.

snail mail, notes, and posters , You know it痴 extremely low tech, but it痴 still popular. Whether you池e passing notes in class or writing a love letter to that special someone, you take time and effort to use that pen or pencil on that piece of paper. Anything you write on paper can be found here! Taking time to write a letter to someone is so much more personal than typing out a cheesy e-mail. It may be outdated, but passing notes in class will always be fun!

journals , Everyone has their secrets, bad days, and secret loves, but who do you tell when you can稚 tell anyone? You write it in your diary... or journals for all those defensive boys and girls out there. Some people just need to write their troubles out instead of talking about them. Whether you do it because you have to for class or sports, or you do it because you need an outlet for your emotional stress, you do it here. It痴 alright, no one will read it... just make sure nobody finds where you致e hid it!

photo albums , A picture says a thousand words, and lasts until you burn it. Make every moment immortal with a picture to remember it. Baby photos, class photos, pictures of the boy you stalk like, and most importantly pictures of yourself now should all be here! Good times, bad times, decent times, sexy times, everything you can imagine and more that can be captured on film can be found here. Share them online! Put them in a scrap book! Share them with your friends! Let痴 all gawk at that Hollywood smile of yours!

the gossip blog , What high school doesn稚 have gossip? Who痴 sleeping with who? Where you were passed out Friday night? A word to the wise; be careful with your devilish schemes and who痴 in your bed. Gossip spreads like wildfire and if the Blogger catches on to what you池e doing, you can bet everyone will know by morning. He or she will do anything to get her hands on your dirty little secret. This blogger can get anyone they want. Spicy couple? They値l know. Arguing with the populars? They値l know. Secretly gay? They値l know. She, or He, will get the drop on you even if you don稚 want them to. The Blogger has a nice little sub-board where you can post tips as a guest to stir up some drama, or perhaps get a secret of your chest, or to out your gay brother. Tips posted by guests cannot be seen by the public. They are only to assist the Blogger, who will decide whether he/she will include it in her next publish. Either way, you should be careful... this bitch has a way of twisting words.
none of the above , Portland is a large city. The world is an even bigger place. For this reason, it's impossible to have a board for every single location. Besides, the tree on the side of the road may be special to you and not to someone else. We can't list that, either. If your character possesses a special hideout, wants to travel across the states, or wants to explore the world, this is the board to do it. After all, it contains anything that isn't found above!

the clock is ticking , Everyone has a piece of their past that they want to experience again, or maybe there痴 an event in the future that you want to do right now? Maybe you just want to take a trip down memory lane. This is where your character can experience the wonders of the past... and future. Although, as fun as this may seem, we do live in the present and we壇 prefer if you kept the majority of your threads at present time as well. This is where you can get creative... the promise is endless.

the dream scape , What happens when you lie down and let yourself drift into sweet sleep? You dream. Your mind can take you to new adventures or revisit old places you thought you壇 forgotten. You can be with people you never met, or the love of your life. Every dream has a meaning, and what it means is up to you. The dream, however, typically doesn稚 come true... and we all know we have the occasional nightmare as well. Then again, you can稚 control what you dream about... or can you?

miniature roleplays , There痴 always something you want to get done real quick, and some roleplaying threads can be one of them! Maybe it痴 an argument of some kind, or something short and sweet... you can post a thread here! There is no posting minimum here, you can simply write as much as you need to get the thread done! However, the threads here do not count to your post counts. Only full fledged posts count and you can稚 post one hundred short little things here and expect your post count to sky rocket. Please refrain from one liners, or two or three sentences. Try a paragraph, please and thank you! Don't abuse the privilege of having a miniature thread. In order to keep your skill level up, you must have a traditional roleplay up to be active.

solo threads , Everyone has those moments when they just have to write out something with no intention of anyone replying. These threads can be present, future, or past. We advise to have one thread per character and keep responding to that one with your solo threads, but if it痴 not your thing then don稚 worry because you can have more than one. If you don稚 want your thread on this board anymore, contact an admin and we値l be sure to move the thread to the archives for you! Please keep in mind that this is the only board for solo threads. Even if your character is dreaming, but it's a solo thread, the thread goes in this board, not the dreaming board.

Do you know how to be insane in the membrane? Please tell me you know how to talk! Well I know you know how to type. This is the board where you can talk about anything, at anytime, anywhere! Sometimes you do stupid stuff and you want to share. Sometimes you need to rant about life... and sometimes you need boy/girl advice! Maybe you need homework help, or help deciding on which clique or playby to use for your next character! We love graphics, especially when you keep them nice and in size. Maybe you can稚 make your own, or see something someone else made and want it... maybe you like making graphics, or drawing. Make sure your character has been accepted before you post in the in-character games. Members may post new games in this board if someone hasn't already made them.

absence notices , This board is mostly for goodbyes. If your life is getting crazy, or youﾂ池e going on vacation, or youﾂ池e leaving us... forever... you should post here so we donﾂ稚 worry about you. Itﾂ痴 also smart to post here because if you came back and found someone else has the face of your character because you were gone during an activity check, it wouldnﾂ稚 be a very nice surprise. This board is here for that reason, so donﾂ稚 freak out on the staff if you forget to post when youﾂ池e gone! If you post in this board and are absent during an activity check, don't worry, we'll save your characters for you. However, in order to do this, please post the full names of all of your characters in your thread.

the archives , When threads go inactive, you can find them here. If there hasn稚 been a reply in two weeks or more, your thread can be considered dead and will be moved here. If you want to re-open your thread please ask a staff member to unlock and move the thread back to its board of origin! If you finish a thread, you should also tell a staff member so we can move it to the archives. Threads may only be re-opened once.

the advertisements , You can come an advertise your own board here! Or maybe you want to affiliate with us? You致e most certainly come to the right board! We do have some rules though, so you should listen up. One, use the proper board when advertising. Two, your site must be PG-13 or below and follow proboards Terms of Service. And three, please only post one ad for each site. If you post a trillion ads we池e going to delete all of them. Spamming isn稚 nice. Proboards and Invisionfree friendly.
