When you've read, understand, and agree to everything in the 'Registration Packet', and you have your account made and your character all thought out, the next step is to drop by this board! Inside, you'll find a thread with our applications. Quote either the Traditional style or the Interview style, and fill it out according to your character and the rules! Please do not roleplay or use the games until you've been accepted. Be patient with your staff - there aren't many of us, so if we can't get to your application right away, don't get mad! If your app has been sitting for three days without any mention if it being checked, don't be afraid to give us a holler! We don't bite... much.

Congratulations! Your application has been reviewed by a staff member and moved to this location. The characters are sorted by gender. Please head to the claims after this. Faces are only reserved if you fill out the face claim, so if your character's playby isn't claimed, it's up in the air for new people to grab. Once your character has been moved here, you have the right away to start roleplaying! We hope to see you around!

This is your first priority after your character has been accepted! Every claim is important, but the face claim and member roster are our number one priorities. Filling out claims helps prevent later confusion and stress for both members and staff, so please come in here and fill out all your claims! Claim everything before you begin roleplaying. We know claiming can be boring, but we need this stuff on record not just for us, but for you and your fellow members! Please take the ten minutes to fill out all your character's claims. Hey, sometimes they can be fun.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the wonderful board where you will find all of the plot pages! In this board, you can create your own shipping page, and plot with your fellow members and staff. Please keep all of your characters on one thread. We are a large society, so this board tends to get cluttered and confusing if there are characters from the same person everywhere. The first few plot pages pinned at the top happen to be the plot pages of your brilliant staff members here on Just The Way I'm Not. We would love if you posted in them as well as your fellow members. Plot pages are the first step to get posting!

If you have to request a character for a specific plot, do it here. If you want to pick up a character and make someone’s day that much brighter, this is the right place to do it! Remember, there are a lot of plots, and once your advertisement has been snagged please put a [C] in front of the title so we know to move it. Any advertisement not bumped in a week will be moved to the dead ads board. We don’t want inactive ads cluttering the board when we have more active ones!

Well, well, well, what do we have here? That's right. Welcome to the twenty first century, my friends. Calling someone and even texting is so yesterday... well, not really, but you catch my drift. Facebook and Twitter have seemingly taken over the internet and taken off with members. Go ahead and make your characters their Facebook and Twitter pages here! For Facebook Pages: Put the title of your character's facebook page thread as 'FIRST LAST'S WALL'. For Twitter Pages: Put the title of your character's twitter page thread as '@usernamehere'. You can find templates for Facebook and Twitter on Caution if you need to find one. Or just ask.

Okay, this doesn't need a description, but you're getting one. It's another great tool to contact your friends and family. You can use it from aim, yahoo and so many others. It's like an email, once you send it, you won't be getting it back. Some people use it out of boredom, and some people use it for answers for homework. You even have people that have mushy conversations with their boyfriends and girlfriends. No matter what, you're using it, and it's one of the most popular forms of communication among teens. Please put each IM conversation in a separate thread.

You know it’s extremely low tech, but it’s still popular. Whether you’re passing notes in class or writing a love letter to that special someone, you take time and effort to use that pen or pencil on that piece of paper. Anything you write on paper can be found here! Taking time to write a letter to someone is so much more personal than typing out a cheesy e-mail. It may be outdated, but passing notes in class will always be fun!

Everyone has their secrets, bad days, and secret loves, but who do you tell when you can’t tell anyone? You write it in your diary... or journals for all those defensive boys and girls out there. Some people just need to write their troubles out instead of talking about them. Whether you do it because you have to for class or sports, or you do it because you need an outlet for your emotional stress, you do it here. It’s alright, no one will read it... just make sure nobody finds where you’ve hid it!

A picture says a thousand words, and lasts until you burn it. Make every moment immortal with a picture to remember it. Baby photos, class photos, pictures of the boy you stalk like, and most importantly pictures of yourself now should all be here! Good times, bad times, decent times, sexy times, everything you can imagine and more that can be captured on film can be found here. Share them online! Put them in a scrap book! Share them with your friends! Let’s all gawk at that Hollywood smile of yours!

Everyone has a piece of their past that they want to experience again, or maybe there’s an event in the future that you want to do right now? Maybe you just want to take a trip down memory lane. This is where your character can experience the wonders of the past... and future. Although, as fun as this may seem, we do live in the present and we’d prefer if you kept the majority of your threads at present time as well. This is where you can get creative... the promise is endless.

What happens when you lie down and let yourself drift into sweet sleep? You dream. Your mind can take you to new adventures or revisit old places you thought you’d forgotten. You can be with people you never met, or the love of your life. Every dream has a meaning, and what it means is up to you. The dream, however, typically doesn’t come true... and we all know we have the occasional nightmare as well. Then again, you can’t control what you dream about... or can you?

There’s always something you want to get done real quick, and some roleplaying threads can be one of them! Maybe it’s an argument of some kind, or something short and sweet... you can post a thread here! There is no posting minimum here, you can simply write as much as you need to get the thread done! However, the threads here do not count to your post counts. Only full fledged posts count and you can’t post one hundred short little things here and expect your post count to sky rocket. Please refrain from one liners, or two or three sentences. Try a paragraph, please and thank you! Don't abuse the privilege of having a miniature thread. In order to keep your skill level up, you must have a traditional roleplay up to be active.

You know those pretty little signatures at the bottom of your profile? Or maybe you need an Icon? This is the graphic center. We love graphics, especially when you keep them nice and in size. Maybe you can’t make your own, or see something someone else made and want it... maybe you like making graphics, or drawing. Here you can post a shop so you can make graphics for our lovely members! You can even find some pretty awesome buttons here! Anything graphic-related can be found in this board.

Games... what site doesn’t have these? It’s a perfect way to pass the time when you’re waiting for a post, or happen to come online when everyone else is gone. Make sure your character has been accepted before you post in the in-character games. Members may post new games in this board if someone hasn't already made them.

This board is mostly for goodbyes. If your life is getting crazy, or youÂ’re going on vacation, or youÂ’re leaving us... forever... you should post here so we donÂ’t worry about you. ItÂ’s also smart to post here because if you came back and found someone else has the face of your character because you were gone during an activity check, it wouldnÂ’t be a very nice surprise. This board is here for that reason, so donÂ’t freak out on the staff if you forget to post when youÂ’re gone! If you post in this board and are absent during an activity check, don't worry, we'll save your characters for you. However, in order to do this, please post the full names of all of your characters in your thread.

When threads go inactive, you can find them here. If there hasn’t been a reply in two weeks or more, your thread can be considered dead and will be moved here. If you want to re-open your thread please ask a staff member to unlock and move the thread back to its board of origin! If you finish a thread, you should also tell a staff member so we can move it to the archives. Threads may only be re-opened once.
