I'M SO GLAD YOU MADE IT HERE TODAY, BUT I'VE SEEM TO FORGOTTEN WHAT YOUR NAME WAS, IT WAS PAT... OR SOMETHING, RIGHT? NO, WELL, WHY DON'T YOU TELL ME IT THEN? FIRST, MIDDLE AND LAST, PLEASE. OH, AND PLEASE DO TELL ME ANY SCRUMPTIOUS NICKNAMES." "Pat? No," Sophia laughed whilst shaking her head softly. "My name is Sophia Carolina Bennett, so I wouldn't say close to Pat at all. Besides… I like my name better than Pat to be honest." Sophia moved a little in the chair, so she sat in a better position. "As for nicknames… Well, some calls me Soph, others Sophie, Car, Lina and whatever they might come up with. I'm also use to people just using my last name. So yeah, it's different from person to person what my nicknames are, I'd say." "I HAVE TO SAY, THAT'S QUITE A NAME YOU GOT THERE. I DON'T THINK I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE. TELL ME, HAVE YOU ALWAYS LIVED IN PORTLAND OR HAVE YOU COME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE?" "No I haven't always lived in Portland. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but when I was fifteen my parents, my siblings and I moved to Portland. We moved during the summer, so I started here at Kimball High when the new school year began." She took a breath and looked around shortly. "OH, I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. HERE, LET'S LIGHTEN UP THE TOPIC A LITTLE BIT. OUT OF ALL OF THE WORDS IN THE WORLD, WHICH FIVE DESCRIBE YOU BEST AND WHY?" Sophia shook her head softly. "You didn't make me uncomfortable at all. No worries, I'm good." For a moment she sat in silent and thought of five personality traits of her own that she could tell the interviewer about now she asked. "Um... Well I've always been an intelligent girl. When I was younger I was one of the smartest, if not the smartest kid in my class, and I still am that day today. I guess it's because I've always hated not to be prepared for school so I've always studied a lot, and when you're studying as much as I, which is a lot, well then it would be weird if you didn't get any smarter, right?" Sophie shortly stop to see if the interviewer was with her, since she actually spoke a little fast as she just said all that. "Oh haha, I'm a very stubborn girl and I always has been. This is one of my weakest sides I guess. Once I put my mind into something, like a goal or so, I'm not letting go until I've succeeded, until I've got things the way I wants them. Though sometimes I of course have to let it go 'cause after all; you can't always get what you want, right? So yeah. I obviously hate when I can't succeed in whatever it might have been I've decided to get et cetera." "Loyal oh yeah, this is me! I'm the extremely loyal kind of person. Seriously I wouldn't do anything to hurt any of my loved ones, friends and whatnot on purpose, I'll never let them down, I'll always have their backs just as I know they'll have mine too. And just as I would never think of telling their biggest secrets to anyone, since it's not mine, I hope and think that they wouldn't do so either. If they need me, I'll be there for them." She breathed shortly and shrugged with a little smile crossing her lips. "Lastly I'd say that I'm a protective and also temperamental girl. Not proud of the last mentioned, haha! But I'm protective to my friends and family. Seriously... I'm over them constantly, or no I'm not, but you should think so. I'm always busy making sure they're okay, and I always put them before myself. They can always come to me if there's anything wrong and whatnot. And then the temperamental part... Well if someone really pisses me off I don't think they'd like to be near me. There's much you'll have to do to piss me off but still so little. So yeah... I guess I've got my temper from my dad. He has some serious temper." She laughed shortly and smiled. "I'M NOT GOING TO LIE. YOU SEEM LIKE QUITE THE CATCH. I'M SURE YOU'RE ALWAYS BUSY, HUH? DO YOU LIKE WATCHING TELEVISION OR KNITTING? WHY DON'T YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?" "Cheerleading is a big part of my life. I use a lot of time on cheerleading, since I'm on the schools cheer squad. It has actually always been a part of my life, since I was a cheerleader in my spare time when I was younger. Um... Besides this, I like reading books, having fun with my friends and family, going out with the girls. Oh and I can use a lot of time in front of the television in the weekends and holidays. Really... I know you wouldn't think so, but I can be so, so lazy!" She laughed for a while as she looked at the interviewer with friendly eyes. "I think... Hmm right now I can't seem to think of anything I dislike. Oh yeah; coffee. Coffee can smell good but eeeuw I hate it. I taste so ugly. And I don't like cigarettes. I don't mind people smoking but then shall definitely not offer me a smoke! And I really, really hate the smoke; I seriously can't breathe near a smoker." "YOU SOUND PRETTY FEARLESS, BUT THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING YOU'RE AFRAID OF. ANY JUICY SECRETS?" Sophia switched position in the chair as she listened to the interviewer's words. "No offense but I won't tell you my biggest secrets 'cause then they really wouldn't be secrets anymore. This has nothing to do with you, you're cool enough, but I'll keep them to myself." She looked at the interviewer before shortly letting her eyes skim the room. "Oh and I'm not fearless. At all. To be honest, I think that one of my biggest fears is being alone - not like being home alone, but like losing my loved ones like if they died." She sighed and took a deep breath. "DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY, BUT ARE YOU GAY? I MEAN, IT WASN'T SOMETHING YOU SAID OR ANYTHING. I'M JUST A CURIOUS OLD BADGER. UM. WHAT DO YOU FIND ATTRACTIVE? IS THAT BETTER? I GUESS YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO." "Oh please no! I'm definitely not gay. I'm straight. I like guys. I always have. Um... I like them taller than me of course, else would be weird - I couldn't imagine myself with someone smaller than myself. Then I love when they have dark hair and brown eyes. I actually also like them with light blue eyes. That's so sexy! Oh and muscular. Not like bodybuilders and whatnot, but with a six pack and with strength - like the jocks here at Kimball High. They have that type of body I like. Most of them I think. I don't know actually, but I guess - I could imagine." "ALRIGHT, ENOUGH WITH THE HEAVY STUFF. LET'S TALK ABOUT... MUSIC. I THINK YOU MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT POP OR HIP HOP EARLIER. WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE? RAP, COUNTRY, JAZZ? WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FIVE MOST PLAYED SONGS ON ITUNES?" "I like pop and R'n'B. I'm not into rock and all that heavy metal stuff. That's... Euw... Haha. Really. I've always been a pop chick when talking music, and I always will be." She took a breath as she thought of the five most played songs of hers on iTunes at the moment. "That would be... The Wanted with Lightning. I think everyone of them would be by The Wanted but beside The Wanted I guess it would be Sexy and I know it by LMFAO, Take That with The Flood, Dynamite by Taio Cruz and Enrique Iglesias with Tonight (I'm Fucking You). Those are what I've heard a lot beside The Wanted." She nodded a little. "LISTENING TO MUSIC LIKE THAT? YOU'RE SURE TO BE A STAR IN THE NEAR FUTURE. YOU SEEM LIKE A WELL-ROUNDED YOUNG PERSON, MY DEAR. WHERE DO YOU FIND YOURSELF TO BE IN FIVE YEARS FROM NOW?" "In five years I hope to be studying medicine since I've dreamed of becoming a doctor since I was a very little girl. I want to help people getting better if they are struggling with diseases like for example cancer." A little smile crossed her lips as she was about to talk again. "And I hope to be engaged in five years. I know, I know. I'm only twenty-three in five years, but I'm a hopeless romantic I guess!" "IF IT MEANS ANYTHING, I'LL BE ROOTING FOR YOU WHEN THE TIME COMES. I'M SURE YOUR PARENTS WILL TOO. SPEAKING OF YOUR PARENTS, WHY DON'T YOU TELL US THEIR NAMES AND WHAT YOU THINK OF THEM! DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS, PETS, OTHER RELATIVES?" "My mom is Lily Louise Bennett former Abott. She's a lawyer. My dad is Matthew Darren Bennett and he's a doctor. I love my parents more than anything, really! They've always been there for me, and I know that they always will. They've always been supportive to me with whatever it might have been. I really do love them." She smiled as she thought of her parents. She wouldn't know what to do if they had died. "My siblings. I really do love them too." She said with a smile. "They're my favorite babies, haha! They're really not that small anymore but they're still my baby brother and sister. Daniel Alexander Bennett and Megan Kaitlyn Bennett are their names. Daniel is fourteen years old and Megan is twelve. I think our relationships are some of the best you could imagine. We never fight or hate on each other even though they're both in their teenager-years. - I guess I was lucky with my family!" "OH, I SEE. WELL, WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. WHY DON'T WE WRAP THIS UP WITH YOUR STORY? HOW DID YOU END UP IN PORTLAND, OREGON?" "Well as I told you, we moved here when I was fifteen. I don't really know why actually... But I know I hated my parents for awhile 'cause they were dragging me to Portland from Los Angeles. I mean... What the hell happened to them moving? Life was good as it was in LA, so I don't see any reason for us to move... Well we did, and with time I began accepting it. I missed my friends though." She sighed and looked at the interviewer. Yes she missed LA a lot, and she was planning to go back when she had graduated. "Well I started at Kimball High when the summer had ended. A new freshman, in a new school, in a whole new town. You could say that I had the chance to start on a new with my life. But I didn't want to. LA was my hometown and my life had started there, I didn't see why I should start over. But I got a lot of new friends and when a half year or so had passed some of the girls from the schools cheer squad passed my house and saw me in our backyard practicing my cheerleading skills. As said I've always love cheerleading. But I was in my backyard, had some music playing in the background and then I practiced. They called me over and said all kind of stuff. That it looked fantastic, that they would love to have me on the team and that I should definitely join them." A new smile showed on her face. "Since that day I've been a part of the schools cheer squad, and oh boy I love it! Cheerleading is my life! Haha." "Now this year is my very last at Kimball High so I'm gonna enjoy every moment I can, and when we hit summer and I'm done we'll see if I'm gonna leave town for LA or if I'll actually stay here. But as said; I'm gonna enjoy every moment I can. And then I think I'll just cut it here, and head out, cause I'm a little busy now, so if you don't mind?" She got up from the chair and headed to the door. She grabbed the handle and were about to open the door before she turned around against the interviewer as she said: "It was nice talking to you Mrs. You're cool enough." And then she left the room and headed out. ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE Elena and Damon had spent the entire summer together trying to find Stefan, but they didn't get any luck before they had slowly begun to give up. Or... They hadn't really started giving up, but maybe just lost hope, and kept searching for him. Damon though had been tracking down Stefan's victims - few of them were Klaus', but most of them had been Stefan's and Damon could tell because it was the exact same method Stefan had been using back in the days when he was a ripper. Now Damon had been keeping this for himself and away from Elena's ears and, but on her 18th birthday she was in Damon's room, and saw it all because the door to the little closet he'd been keeping it in, wasn't closed. They finally did find Stefan when he and Klaus arrived in Chicago. Or actually Damon found him when they were in Tennessee, but Elena didn't see him there. She did in Chicago. This was the night he told her that he didn't want anything to do with her anymore, that she should just stop looking for him, and stop loving him 'cause he'd never return, at least not in her lifetime. He was wrong though 'cause Klaus had found out that Elena was still alive, so he dragged Stefan back to Mystic Falls. To be honest Damon actually wasn't happy about their returning, though he'd wanted to bring his little brother home. But he wasn't happy about it because of what damage he'd caused Elena already because of Klaus. He'd been feeding on her, and Klaus had wanted to see him doing it till she'd die. But he did realize that the original witch who had told him how and what to do to become the hybrid he was inside and to create more hybrids, had fooled him. The doppelganger had to be alive. It was her blood that was needed. Everything was just a big mess at the moment, and Damon would rather be free of it than not... But apparently he can’t always get what he wants. Damon didn't wanna let Elena be alone these days, okay she had her brother and Alaric but he still didn't like not being there for her. He needed to know that she was okay, and whenever he was not with her, he was actually worried about her, even though he maybe wasn't really aware of it himself. This was why he'd taken off to her place to be with her and make sure that she was okay. Instead of catching Elena there he'd found her brother and Alaric. They actually didn't know where she was, and since it was Saturday Damon was sure that she definitely wasn't doing any school related stuff with Caroline or Bonnie and who else it would be. The only place for her to be at this moment then had to be at the cemetery, he was sure. After all her parents and her aunt was buried there, and Damon knew she was putting new flowers at their graves now and then, so he'd taken off to the cemetery. As he got there, with psychical strength, not car, he saw Elena's car as one of the first things. See, he wasn't wrong, she was here, and she wouldn't be hard to find. He'd find her in no time by smell. And he did also know where their graves were, so it wouldn't be a problem for him at all to find her. True enough; only a few seconds later he was standing a few meters from Elena who was sitting with her arms wrapped around her knees which she had pulled up to her chest. "I thought I'd find you here," he said with a low and soft voice which was just high enough for Elena to hear it. For a few seconds he just stood there and looked at her. Then he started walking towards her with calm and slow steps. "How are you?" He asked with the same tone of voice as before. MAYA, TWO YEARS, CAUTION, STAFF EDIT |
